Comrade Stanley Abiri, an ex-agitator and street coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), has warned against spreading false narratives targeting PAP Administrator Dr. Dennis Otuaro and Tantita Security Service Limited Managing Director High Chief Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo, aka Tompolo.
Abiri described recent attacks on the duo as ignorant and mischievous, citing positive changes in the region.
He accused some ex-agitators of fanning violence and dismissed protests as petty jealousy, saying Otuaro and Tompolo’s achievements outweigh criticisms.
He condemned protests at the global stage, calling them fake and baseless, and challenged critics to address multi-national oil companies’ environmental degradation instead.
Abiri urged people to ignore blackmail against Otuaro and Tompolo, advising critics to retract false narratives and avoid fomenting trouble in the region.
” Abiri states that the recent negative attacks and campaign of culmuny over their present position and pipeline surveillance contact are ignorant and mischievous on the positive changes going on in the region,’ he said.
” However, Abiri accused some ex-agitators of fanning the embers of violence and destruction, and dismissed the recent negative outings and media campaigns as ignorance and petty jealousy, and cannot sieve the chaffs from the wheats and coming from quarters of those that are confused to the development of the region.
” The detractors of the duo have distorted their record of achievements and exaggerated their shortcomings.
” The Ex-agitator, emphatically condemned and laugh at a facade of protests by a so-called group at the global stage, accusing Otuaro and Tompolo of unknown crimes, is a fake news that does not exist and unbecoming of detractors standing. Rather, their transforming impact is felt by all and sundry in the region.
.
” There are lots of opportunities and benefits abound in the region, “and is surprised that just a mere pipeline surveillance contract awarded to Tantita Security that we are fighting ourselves.”
” All refineries in the country are moribund, after huge sum of money appropriated for there maintenance without any tangible results, and was it caused by Otuaro and Tompolo, he queried. Abiri, and also asked, whether the bandits killings and the numerous attacks by Boko Haram are caused by the duo.
” Shell petroleum company Ltd, had engaged in oil exploration in the Niger Delta for over 50 years, without any commensurate development, who was the cause? And challenged those who are protesting to go to the global stage to equally protest the gross neglect and environmental degradation caused by multi-national oil companies, and demand for justice from the White House.
” I want to appeal to all people of good conscience to ignore the calculated blackmail against the duo, painting a scenerio that is not true in its entirety, adding that, it is becoming worrisome of the unwarranted attacks by some political gangsters and miscreants trying to foment trouble in the relatively peace region.
” My advise to those bent on spreading false narratives against Otuaro and Tompolo to have rethink and retrace their steps, not to create false impression and false claims”
